School decides witch logo is bad idea since it's in town that most recently hanged witches

A school in the village that carried out England's last hangings for witchcraft, when it was still a crime, has announced it will do away with its witch emblem.

Administrators at Warboys Community Primary School, which has used the image of a witch riding a broomstick as its logo for more than 60 years, announced their intentions after the school received poor marks on a recent inspection, The Daily Telegraph reported Thursday.

The school is located in the town of Warboys, where England's last witchcraft executions took place in 1593.

Link. Really, the most interesting thing about the story is that the article doesn't actually show the logo or link to the school's site. Via.
