Wow. The Mythbusters were hired by Nvidia to demonstrate how its new processor was superior to other processors.
Now that's how you advertise a product in the internet age. Relatedly, here's Adam Savage explaining that Mythbusters wanted to do a show exposing how hackable rfid tags were, but Texas Instruments, Visa, and the other credit card companies pressured the Discovery Channel into killing the show:
