The 826 writing centers are supported by the coolest themed stores. Los Angeles has a Time Travel Mart, which I have mentioned in the past. San Francisco has a pirate themed store for which Office recently designed terrific new goods. If you make it to the store, you can buy products like bilge water and peg leg oil:

Many of the other 826's have equally awesome stores associated with them. NYC has a great superhero supply store. Seattle has a space exploration themed store. And I believe Michigan has robots or something like that.
