Burger King Kid's Meals currently come with DIY Spongebob Squarepants toys, and as part of the campaign, BK is running a tv ad featuring the King performing a parody of Sir Mix-A-Lot's "I like Big Butts" called "I like Square Butts." But what really caught my eye was the ad promises a 99 cent kid's meal, complete with toy. That was news to me and sounded like a great deal.
Of course, it's totally misleading. Unless you really focus, you miss the part where the narrator says it's 99 cents only if you buy a value meal. Indeed, there are already various people expressing confusion about the misleading deal.
