Here's the first five episodes of G.I. Joe Resolute, which do a great job maintaining the feel of the original cartoon series (minus the public service announcement). If they're taken down, watch the episodes as they're posted at Adult Swim.
Warren Ellis says, "Right now, it's looking like, on average, about 90% of what I wrote is making it to the finished articles."

I like the much needed grittier take. I can't wait for the toys, with removable limbs and lifelike blood splatter.
ReplyDeleteThis is very cool. I love the new badass attitude of Cobra Commander. He seems totally insane and motivated but at the same time aware of what made him fail in the past. Sounds like someone has been seeing a therapist.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. This is really well done and I am glad it's adult swim. Probably the only done intentionally for them that's been any good in the last 5 years other than robot chicken.
ReplyDeleteI love how they are sucking us in with micro episodes like the first run at a clone wars cartoon.
