Picking my favorite post of '07 was tough but it boiled down to either the hilarious but true story of NASA part-time consultants drafting a primer on planetary defense against aliens or that great video with the cosplayers dancing in the street in Akihabara and I'll have to go with the cosplay dance http://superpunch.blogspot.com/2007/04/video-cosplay-otaku-stage-dance-in.html because I still go back and watch that video sometimes.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the fun new logo.

There were so many good ones. I am going to have to say the Che Guevara Parody article. So many good and clever ideas with those. I also liked seeing the original photo of him at the beginning. :)

Love the new logo. You just got yourself a classic mascot.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say "Bring back Flat Eric" as I have one in my office, until I saw the "Bite Sized" Threadless t-shirt design :D

Katamari Damacy Fan Art
ReplyDeleteI just love the picture because I'm a huge fan of the games. I just go Me and My Katamari from Gamefly today and been waiting forever to play it. Huge bonus was putting in some big name Japanese movie monsters and Ultraman. Godzilla looks so pissed and Mothra seems very confused.
I wish the had a level like this,... well they do and thats why the game is so awesome.

i'm saying the baby nasal aspirator. total gross out and reminds me of an incident when i was a kid. no boogers involved. i had to mow the lawn but couldn't find the gas can to fill the lawnmower so i siphoned some from my dads truck and got a nice mouthful of texas tea. i vowed to never siphon anything again.

Irresistible Comic Book Concept: Popeye vs. Hulk
ReplyDeletehttp://superpunch.blogspot.com/2007/04/irresistable-comic-book-concept-popeye.html
One of life's biggest mysteries finally solved.
The irresistible comic of Popey vs. Hulk. Too bad this hasn't been made into a hollywood blockbuster yet, am I the only one who thinks robin williams could still play popey?

ReplyDeleteThis blog offers many nerdy/geeky things that I love, but when you mix steampunk with diy it's a winner. There is nothing cooler than being able to make this nerdy stuff on your own and then wear them in public and whatevever.
