Goats have weird eyes, and it's time for a Threadless gift certificate giveaway

UPDATE: The contest is closed and the winner has been announced.

1. Goats have rectangular pupils

2. Which I bring up because, courtesy of Adam Koford, I have an awesome new logo featuring a punchy chimera:

Here's his personal webstore and Flickr gallery.

3. And to celebrate, I'm giving away a $25 Threadless gift certificate. To win, go look through my April 2007 archives, pick out your favorite post, and then comment right here. Make sure your comment includes a brief description and link to your favorite April 2007 post and make sure it either includes your email or a link that will easily allow me to find your email so I can contact you. One entry per person, contest will end at 8:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Friday April 10, and I'll announce the winner shortly thereafter.

Thanks again for reading my blog.

UPDATE: Remember, post your comment here, not on the post you find from the April archives.

UPDATE 2: And make sure to include the url to the post you picked.

*Previously: Obey MODOK by Koford.

*Buy plush chimeras at eBay.

  1. Picking my favorite post of '07 was tough but it boiled down to either the hilarious but true story of NASA part-time consultants drafting a primer on planetary defense against aliens or that great video with the cosplayers dancing in the street in Akihabara and I'll have to go with the cosplay dance http://superpunch.blogspot.com/2007/04/video-cosplay-otaku-stage-dance-in.html because I still go back and watch that video sometimes.

Congrats on the fun new logo.

  7. There were so many good ones. I am going to have to say the Che Guevara Parody article. So many good and clever ideas with those. I also liked seeing the original photo of him at the beginning. :)

  10. Katamari Damacy Fan Art

I just love the picture because I'm a huge fan of the games. I just go Me and My Katamari from Gamefly today and been waiting forever to play it. Huge bonus was putting in some big name Japanese movie monsters and Ultraman. Godzilla looks so pissed and Mothra seems very confused.

I wish the had a level like this,... well they do and thats why the game is so awesome.

This blog offers many nerdy/geeky things that I love, but when you mix steampunk with diy it's a winner. There is nothing cooler than being able to make this nerdy stuff on your own and then wear them in public and whatevever.
