Sculptures by Bruce Metcalf

Striking sculptures on display in Bruce Metcalf's gallery. His work is apparently currently on display at the Mint Museum in North Carolina.

His blog is also interesting reading. Here he responds to a critic. And here he describes a visit to an art show with an irresistible first line:

I recently saw the Louise Bourgeois exhibit at the Guggenheim in New York. While they couldn’t stuff her largest spiders into the confines of the Guggenheim, it was still a great show.
You want to know more about those spiders, don't you? Via.

*Previously: Giant steampunk spider.

*Buy plush spiders at eBay.
