I love the shirt, but let's be reasonable here, "...shouldn't you lose copyright by failing to use it?" I hope you're joking. The fact that Bill Watterson, or anyone for that mater chooses not to market his product to the nth degree (from now on to be called the Davis effect) should not be cause for removing the international protection from his product. Your design could be considered parody, and therefore under fair use. Why take something that was clearly important to the man and try to take it away from him?
