I am a big fan of Dave McKean after buying the Magic of Reality. Having dabbled in art myself, I fail to understand how he can be proficient at so many different styles! He seems to be able to turn his hand to absolutely any aspect of image making - and as I understand the book was begun around the time of the Haiti earthquake, and finished around the Fukuishima one, it means he completed a couple of hundred illustrations in no more than 16 months or so. Quite astounding!
