I can personally vouch for these being Information Centers directions. After spending half a day with my significant other following them, I was disappointed to not find a Yellow question mark box with coins inside at the end of the trail.
Looks like everyone beat me to it... That's standard signage for visitor information. It could lead to a tourist info centre or to a big map with brochures for local hotels and attractions.

It's by the tourist board. Means "Don't know where you're going? Why not try this patch of scrub land?"

ReplyDeleteI too thought the exact same thing, "WOAH YES! WHAT THE HECK IS THAT SIGN!" I was laughed at and immediately told "information. DUH". so sad...
