Best Buy has an exclusive version of the new All-Star Superman movie that comes with Superman in his white solar costume. I was planning on getting the movie for my boys, and was wondering if the figure was worth the extra money (and a trip to Best Buy). Has anyone seen a better photo?

ReplyDeletei just watched it last night. and, while they present certain awesome aspects of superman's character (ie. he has a sun eater for a pet, he creates mini-suns with a cosmic anvil, etc.), overall the movie just feels surprisingly flat. the lex luthor subplot is overwrought and his plans are ridiculously complicated (don't get me started on his 16 year old niece whom the artists insist on rendering in awkwardly sexy outfits and poses). lois lane comes off as spoiled brat. superman is a dork. the whole movie feels like it was written by some guys who don't see daylight very much and don't spend much time talking to girls (i know! i know!). but, to be fair, you do get some cool insight into the superman legend. i just wish the rest of the movie lived up to those ideas.
