Jeez, these are awful. Penelope Cruz is so Photoshopped she's unrecognisable, and Jeff Bridges doesn't even seem to be looking at her. I don't believe they were even at the shoot together. Ghastly.
ReplyDeleteagreed! SO photoshopped. and they could've picked wayyy more fitting actors...
ReplyDeleteThe concepts had potential, but as stated above... inappropriate 'actors' and photoshopping is just painful to look at. I'd love these if some amount of WORK had been put into making them look remotely decent. Geez.
ReplyDeletei love olivia wilde and alec baldwin's. the others were just...meh.
ReplyDeletefirstly; ignore the haters.
ReplyDeletei think they're lovely, great concept, great backgrounds, its a great concept, the actors and actresses look like they're enjoying themselves...
sure, they've been photoshopped, but they're meant to look ethereal, and fairytale, and NOT REAL... yano, like disney?
a lot of work has gone into these, id like to see any of the above create something better.
so yeahh, great job, cant wait to see more. :) x
great *costumes.
ReplyDeletemy bad. :L ahahaa.
Great concept (from an evil corporation), but would it have been that hard to have scoped out celebrities of the ACTUAL ethnicity the characters portray?
ReplyDeleteYeah - a Latino Aladdin and Jasmin. Right.
(With the exception of Genie - they should have just had Robin Williams do it)
People need to chill. They're missing the point. These are SUPPOSED to look surreal and therefore Photoshopped. It's Disney advertising and its perfectly fitting that they're not realistic.
ReplyDeleteborrrring. Yeesh, Disney is SO staid. Why not cast unknown people who are actually INTERESTING to look at? And why did this have to be so literal. Way to think inside the box Disney
ReplyDeletethere's also a little mermaid one
ReplyDeleteEthereal =/ Bad Photoshop.
ReplyDeleteGeeze people, what did Disney ever do to you?
ReplyDeleteyou either hate it, or love it and disney fans usually hate fan art, but lets face it, Disney are not making any good movies, and so they can suck it! Just see JAB or any other x-rated fan art! :D
ReplyDeleteI think this stuff is awesome, and you should do more.
btw, I think the Genie, would have been better being an actor from Avatar or something like that, Whoopi would be good for the Fairy godmother.
Dianna Agron should've been Alice. Just saying...
ReplyDeleteWonderful
ReplyDeleteLoved them all!
ReplyDeleteI agree ,It seems to be a little fake but anyway cinderella, the evil queen, wendy and jazmin are fitting perfectly!
ReplyDelete<3
AHAHAH the photoshop-effects are so embarassingly bad!
ReplyDeleteGosh there are so many no talent morons on here. They have no idea how much work goes into these photos. Just look at the behind the scenes on Youtube. These haters are just jealous that they are struggling in their own lives to amount to anything remotely close to Annie and all the work the graphic artists went through to create these Ads.
ReplyDeleteGood poster material. I'm not sure how much the amount of work that goes into this kind of photography has much to do with its being good or bad as art. I think it has something to do with impressing costumers, though.
ReplyDeleteI don't hate this kind of commercial art, but I'll leave loving it to someone else.
I think thats the point... they're not supose to look real... cause well... For your information... FAIRY TALES ARE NOT REAAAAAALL!!!!!!!!! and i think all photoshop work looks great.. Kind of bizarre you know???
ReplyDeleteI actually thought these were bad fan-made photoshops where they'd cut and pasted celebrity faces onto stuff. Only when the video link was posted today did I realise they were official...
ReplyDeleteOlá:)(Hi)
ReplyDeleteLet me just say that I disagree with most comments. We're here to lose the objective of the photos, the author is an artist, your goal is to portray our childhood movies.
The important thing is not Penelope or beonce they look but the characters. I think its an excellent job in terms of characterization and background.
Adeus amigos:)
firstly, I am a huge fan of Annie and I would like to just say these photos are wonderful. Secondly, most are NOT photoshopped, I saw the "making of the photos" and Annie makes her models dress up as the characters in which they are portraying, and the backgrounds are all usually all costume made. Before you go slamming on wonderful photos, which I am sure you couldn't take yourself, you should read the facts and watch how it is done. It is pathetic that most of you folks probably do this quite often due to your lack of life! Go take a photo and post it, so we can all slam it too. Most of this WORLD is "photoshopped" and these are suppose to look like the Disney stories. So get over yourself.
