2. If you missed it, Minnesota House Majority Leader Matt Dean said he "hated" Neil Gaiman and called him a "pencil-necked little weasel who stole $45,000 from the state of Minnesota."   1. I wonder if it's always been that way. I can't imagine that Randy Constan guy (, ya know the Peter Pan guy) paid that money way back in 2000 or whenever his site got it.

    However it makes sense now that Letters of Note was pushing so hard for people to vote for his site.

    Honestly I don't use the Webby site at all for anything.

    With that entry fee, it feels like the Who's Who Among High School Students or National Poetry Book scams, wherein payment gets you inclusion into a book.

    It's just paid exposure from a site with a page rank of 8.
