1. Alice: Madness Returns is getting terrible reviews. (Not unexpected, but such a waste of the artwork.)
2. Cartoon Network and Joel Silver are going to make a Ben 10 live-action movie. (I'm not crazy about the action sequences in the cartoon, but the writing, especially anything Kevin or the tiger say, is frequently very funny.)
3. Barcelona: Year Zero video, wallpapers, posters.

Didn't they already do two live action movies based on the earlier seasons of Ben 10? I think they were directed by Alex Winter, the guy who played Bill in the Bill & Ted movies ...
ReplyDeleteNow that you mention, I seem to recall commercials. (But that was before my sons (and I) got into the show.)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't go so far as to say what amounts to 70% ratings on Alice would equate to the word "terrible" but I would also argue that after reading those three review articles that the critics sounded like little babies whining about some ridiculous things. Imho, lol.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm sure I'll see for myself when I pick up the new Alice.
I just checked and yup they did. How weird that they don't even reference them in the PR for the upcoming movies. Sheesh, I guess made-for-TV movie = doesn't exist when a REAL movie is coming to the big screen :/
