  2. I like how the Robin Hood one was taken from the cover of a Modest Mouse album.

  3. I think my fave is the princess and the pea.

  4. As stated before me, that Robin Hood one is most disturbing. I know Picasso praised copying/stealing, but come on now...this is down right copying with a hue shift. Tisk tisk.

  5. Why does the swan from the Ugly Duckling look like a duck?

  6. Good point. Too similar IMO:

  7. Boy, you are right. Nearly identical except for fewer arrows.

  8. I love how anonymous people have something to say about everything, particularly when it is negative. (And how obviously no one before Modest Mouse ever used an image of arrows into a flat surface with bleeding.)

Found my way here from Twitter (Felicia Day linked). Really enjoying your blog. Thanks for sharing these! They look fantastic.

  9. Avaryse, I literally couldn't have said that better myself, you're awesome. I definitely agree.

  10. I really liked these posters but I will say (not anonymously) that Robin Hood poster is too similar to the Modest Mouse poster to be called anything but a copy. Spotting a copy usually makes me wonder whether the others are copies too -- which is a letdown because, as I mentioned, I really liked them.
