What surprises me about the GoT SFX reel is that they used digital effects so often, but in ways that looked practical; this is usually a GOOD thing, but for GoT I have to think: Go bigger! Winterfell suffered the most, I thought, from being too skimpy, so I was shocked to find that the domed towers and whatnots weren't practical sets. If you're going to bluescreen the place in later, at least 'screen it in HUGE! *Grumble*
