Not sure Brutal Legend's sensibilities were tongue in cheek exactly. Pretty sure it wore it's humor on it's shirtsleeves (or leather jacket lapel as it were). Also I expect BL packs more wit than SoD, which appears to be going for grindcore camp, not that there's anything wrong with that. SoD looks like good times.
