Win a copy of The Art and Making of Star Wars: The Old Republic

UPDATE: Scott Potis and his original character Sith Marauder custom action figure won:

I mentioned the great book The Art and Making of Star Wars: The Old Republic earlier today, and good news, I have one copy to give away.

You'll have to work a little harder than usual to win. Create some sort of work of art starring a character from The Old Republic video game and email it to me by the evening of 12/18. You can look here for inspiration. My apologies, but this contest is limited to USA residents.

Even if you don't win, the book is well worth its current $26 price at Amazon.

  1. Can it be an action figure, and does it have to be an actual in game character or could it be a rather more "inspired" interpretation? Thanks!

  2. Custom action figure would be great, inspired by is fine, too.

  3. Sadly my artistic ability only extends as far as MSPaint. Still, that book does look lovely!

  4. I still think the book is just "OK", not great. Doesn't come close to the Uncharted 2-Book or the Monster Hunter Illustrations-Book.
But it's worth the price if you have any interest in Star Wars, that's for sure.

  5. Sadly I didn't get my work done in time, I was working on the one piece color art contest from viz in any spare time I had and missed that deadline as well. ces't la guerre.
