I don't really understand the what the peeling has to do with comics, and only fans would even notice the "D", but otherwise, I don't mind it. Looks better than the orbiting star logo.
ReplyDeleteIt's a failure if they're still writing "DC Comics" underneath it a year from now.
I really like new branding. My impression was the peel effect was to reference the idea of the secret identity. Peel effects are played out, but I forgive this one because it serves the function of referencing secret identities, which the DC universe has a lot of!
