The hyper-violent sport of the future stars in the video for Justice's "New Lands." Reminded me of Speed Racer. Good song, too.
And here's the video for Jack White's "Freedom At 21." Mostly notable for a cool color palette. Via.

I think Justice's vid is based off Roller Ball but it has been so long since I've seen that movie.
ReplyDeleteI got really excited when you said "Justice and Jack White." Check out this Glitch Mob Remix of Seven Nation Army: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0SrZh32GcQ
ReplyDelete^^ this song is amazing. This is the song that is used as the backround to the beginning of the Gi Joe 2 promo trailers. I spent 45 minutes trying to find out what song it was based off of abou 8 seconds of audio from the trailers.
DeleteJustice put on a fantastic live show recently out here. I saw this video last week and it reminded me of a bunch of 70s/80s sci-fi movies. loved it. didn't recommend it though because I wasn't currently listening to it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Josh Homme as the sheriff with the cigarette at the road block in that Jack White video.
ReplyDeleteThat guy does weird stuff and I wouldn't be surprised if it was really him.
