1. When I first started blogging, I did annoying things like spamming Reddit and Digg thinking it might drive traffic to my site. I figured out within a day or two that it didn't work that way. After years of lurking, I finally created a new profile and submitted a few links today as an experiment. One of the three made it to the front page.
