A mirror labyrinth, navigable by nose

New project by Bompas and Parr:
The Waft that Woos
The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford on Avon

The Waft that Woos is a mirror labyrinth, navigable by nose and inspired by the Merry Wives of Windsor and Shakespearian comedy. When it opens on the 6th October follow the scent of the only aphrodisiac known to mankind (which is absorbed via your lungs and eyeballs) to the heart of the maze.

Bompas & Parr’s art installation gives visitors a tangible Shakespearian experience, with exploding narratives, characterisation and criticism on an architectural and inhabitable scale. Come explore the maze and sniff the Shakespearean love oil.
