What in the world is going on with Cable??
ReplyDeleteAnyone else thinking that the Avengers Arena logo/cover looks slightly like the Battle Royale DVD logo/cover?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have any thoughts on this new incarnation of X-Men Legacy? I L-O-V-E Simon Spurrier's X-Club/Science Team stuff, but have heard nothing regarding this new book.
ReplyDeleteAvengers Arena #2's cover is a direct homage/take on the art for the longtime cover of Lord of the Flies:

And the logo is, as Austen noted, a direct take on the Battle Royale logo. It would seem pretty obvious what the plot of this comic is going to be like, although I can't see how that will work without them actually killing anyone.
That Amazing Spider-Man cover should be a poster. And I don't even like Spider-Man.
Ju-osh: X-Men Legacy doesn't sound like what you (or I) want it to be, honestly. (spoiler alert) The book is focused around Prof. Xavier's son. More details on the Marvel site here:
