Batman: Year One is decent, definitely worth it for that price on Blu-Ray.
ReplyDeleteI assume you know already that this one is not for the young 'uns, particularly the extra short featuring Catwoman infiltrating a strip club. It doesn't quite live up to the grit and darkness of the comic, but the tone over-all stays mature and moody.
I'm from the "Kevin Conroy is the only actor who should ever voice animated Batman" school, but I thought Ben McKenzie handled the role well, particularly as Bruce Wayne.
And damn does it look good on Blu-Ray.
Yeah, if DC made their movies PG, I'd have already bought them for my boys
ReplyDeleteThe Flame Red 3DS with Mario 3D Land is $149.99 on Best Buy:
