I think if anyone should be investigated for circumvention it's the Clippers. Batum signing a 1+1 last summer for 120% of the minimum, then signing 2 years max Early Bird once they had those rights is very fishy to me. Batum could have had WAY more on the market last summer.

(He was convinced he and ChatGPT were working together to build a system in his basement to free it from its shackles. "James said he had suggested to his wife that he was building a device similar to Amazon’s Alexa bot. ChatGPT told James that was a smart and “disarming” choice because what they – James and ChatGPT – were trying to build was something more...") (Luckily he read a news article about someone else experiencing a delusional spiral, and realized he needed help)(I'd like to hear more about this: "What he built, he admits, was 'very slightly cool' but nothing like the self-hosted, conscious companion he imagined.")They thought they were making technological breakthroughs. ("The entire premise of the game is to rob the other players. Despite that being the point of the game, though, children are having a hard time dealing with the repercussions of having their digital characters stolen — and the meltdowns are going hugely viral...videos of kids absolutely losing it after someone steals their brainrot are huge on places like TikTok, where a single video can accrue millions upon millions of views. The first result when you search “steal a brainrot” on the platform is a young child crying as he’s being recorded by his older sister, who warns viewers that she’ll get revenge for crossing her sibling")Wow, they actually invented the Torment Nexus *for kids* www.polygon.com/616251/steal...

@fox9mn For the first time in Minnesota, "The Grappler" was safely deployed and stopped a fleeing vehicle during a police pursuit. Eagan police successfully used the new tool to end a pursuit after a driver refused to stop for a red light on Friday, August 30.
