G.I. Joe cover process (art roundup)

I've always felt V for Vendetta is hard to get through in trade form, the coloring is nice but somehow distracting. Very into how the work looks in its original black and white and serialized form from Warrior Magazine in 1983. This sheet music sequence in book form is so clunky, but pretty here.

I recently tried reading "The Marvel Creator Collection No. 1: "Back to the Savage Land" Barry Windsor-Smith at Marvel Vol. 1" and it looked so lousy with new colorization that I stopped after the first issue. (It's on Hoopla if you want to check it out.)

TBT when we were assigned to make senior portraits for art school and my teacher said I couldn't use this one because it was "too upsetting"
