Fan-made t-shirt based on Alan Wake
Day 29 of #90DaysOfAlanWake - another vinyl cut project, but I'm counting it because I love how it came out!!! Wanted to make a couple of festive shirts just for husband and I. π pic.twitter.com/FSKSwsHdvv

I hadn't planned to do wide sales of these - apparel is so, so tricky with stocking sizes and all and I'm too deep in debt to upfront the kind of material costs that would require - but I would be open to an individual order or two! Feel free to shoot me a message. ✌️

Homemade Ctrl Alt Barbie t-shirt
I couldn’t find any laser printer transparencies in Santa Cruz yesterday to do a photo emulsion so I went with the DIY mod podge approach I learned from livejournal craftgrrl community. Colored the mod podge glue with food coloring so I could see where I put it.

Welp, today I learned that Great Western Forum was a corporate name.

And speaking of arena names, here are some good ones:
It’s impossible to embarrass me with a new arena name. I went to Mizzou. I was born in the darkness, molded by it. https://t.co/QbgAF1wzL8

They played like one game in the interim period between when the scandal broke and when the board renamed it when it didn’t have a name, so the announcers called it The New Arena. They may have forgotten but I have not forgotten.

It can’t quite top my favorite name for a venue, though. That would be the 1-800-ASK-GARY amphitheater in Tampa, named for the perfectly Floridian business that ran a doctor AND lawyer referral hotline. (While I was living there, some people called it “the Gary.”)

Surprising book cover for The Joy of Cooking; Unusually interesting cab driver; T-shirt celebrating a negative review
(Amazon sells the re-release.)I’m really charmed by the medievalism of the cover design of Joy of Cooking’s first edition (1931): Martha of Bethany, patron saint of cooks, vanquishes the dragon of dinnertime. pic.twitter.com/07HJJlaI3T

Unkar Plutt concept from #TheForceAwakens. Brief was ‘blobfish’. Final creature design was by Ivan Manzella though I contributed with the design of his armour plated costume, which was more befitting work attire for his junkyard than the Imperial tone of my first pic. #starwars pic.twitter.com/3vcdvmvEB0
