Armored Ferrari tracksuit is so cool

The armored top is the "Reconditioned by Ferrari leather tracksuit for the 2026 Silverstone Grand Prix" (a one-piece jumpsuit, not a jacket) ($3900). And the other item is the "Reconditioned by Ferrari leather jacket for the 2026 Silverstone GP" ($3100). The 2026 Silverstone Ferrari bag charm is good too, only $320.

By far the funniest moment in Homer’s Odyssey is when Circe says, “Shall we have sex?” and Odysseus says, “You just turned all my men into pigs. You have the GALL to think I would sleep with you? Of course I will. Absolutely. But don’t do any weird spells”

Reportedly, ESPN told Ryan Clark, while he was doing an episode of NFL Live today, that he had been fired

NYT says ESPN feared he was going to find out from some other source, so told him immediately (but I guess they were paying him, and had wanted to get their money's worth). He "did not finish the program."

Watch them turning the big dial.

Thinking about how Osprey, a publishing house almost entirely devoted to publishing military uniform/equipment fetish material disguised as dry but picture heavy non-fiction tomes, put out a book dismantling the right wing mythologization of Sparta with an absolute all-timer table of contents.

One of my favorite books, and I'm pleased to say the audiobook, performed by Frazer Douglas, is wonderful. Here's the Amazon link, although I listened to it on Libby.

(The audiobook for Miller's short story Galatea is good too, albeit pretty grim; I haven't listened to the Circe audiobook, but the novel is $2.99 at Amazon (also fairly grim as I recall)).
