So is the Lanterns song, "When All Goes Quiet" an intentional homage to Radiohead's "Spectre"? (and two other questions I had upon finishing the series)

I finally finished Lanterns, which was great, albeit far too smilar to HBO Watchmen, and had three questions I didn't see satisfying answers to in my brief research. Why was John so comfortable walking in bare feet? What was the significance to a drop of blood being placed in his eye? And this:






The song that plays when John confronts Kerry sounded distactingly similar to Radiohead's "Spectre" (the part starting at 1:23). Assuming that similarity is intentional (authorized?), who's the Spectre/Specter--Noah? Hal? Rhule?



OK, one more question, have you seen anyone selling a knockoff of the crew tee (great color, great simple logo)?
