Weighing more than 4,500 tonnes, the rig tipped over during transit, sparking a small fire. Officials said the environmental impact was minimal and no oil infrastructure was damaged. Built for extreme Arctic conditions, the rig plays a key role in major projects, including the development of the Kuparuk oil field.
