🇱🇹 BREAKING: Lithuania says an attempt was made overnight to set fire to a company storing Starlink communications equipment used by Ukraine, in an incident Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius has linked to Russia’s suspected hybrid warfare campaign against Europe. The attempted arson took place at around 2 a.m. According to Sinkevičius, the company had already been warned by Lithuanian security services about possible attacks, prompting it to strengthen security at the site. The attempt was ultimately prevented, and incendiary liquids were found at the scene in containers ranging from 3 to 5 litres, as well as a 10-litre canister. The company supports nine Starlink satellite antennas used by Ukraine, making the facility relevant to communications supporting Kyiv. Lithuanian officials have confirmed that the incident is under investigation. Police Commissioner General Arūnas Paulauskas said officers worked through the night collecting evidence and examining the scene. No suspects have been detained so far, and the company’s operations were not disrupted. Any damage is believed to be minimal.

("a Times analysis found that CALSTART’s database contained 2,681 VINs that did not appear to match the model year of their voucher applications. At least 83 VINs had an erroneous ninth digit — the security digit — a potential indicator of error or tampering")California spent $1 billion on a clean truck voucher program designed to cut pollution and accelerate zero-emission sales. Now, the program is roiled by accusations of fraud, broken buses and poor oversight. Here’s what our analysis revealed ⬇️ https://t.co/sd0raPYcXl

Long list of brands bought to protect the core of the buyer's portfolio, then starved or shelved: - Honest Tea, Odwalla, Zico: all bought by Coke, all discontinued. Zico's founder bought it back. - Bai: Dr Pepper paid $1.7bn, wrote most of it down. - Bodyarmor: Coke paid $5.6bn, took a $760m impairment three years later. - Rockstar: Pepsi paid $3.85bn, has lost share every year since. - Freshly: Nestlé paid $1.5bn, shut it within three years. - Dollar Shave Club: Unilever paid $1bn, sold it for a fraction seven years later. - Bonobos: Walmart paid $310m, sold for $75m. - Ballast Point: Constellation paid $1bn, sold for pocket change four years on. - Snapple: Quaker paid $1.7bn in 1994, sold for $300m in 1997. Fontainebleau has added a weird, possibly diabolical, new feature to some slot machines. It allows you to bet your winnings on a card flip. Pick the right color to double up, or the right suit to quadruple your money. Up to 16 times in a row — or until you lose everything. https://t.co/CQvq9SeDan

("According to the police, the FedEx driver left the vehicle, which was parked near PSA’s shipping and receiving address, located at 1610 E. St. Andrew Place, for between 60 and 90 minutes. The lock to the truck was broken and packages were stolen while he was away.")Completely understand the fire PSA is under for the FedEx truck theft. But the biggest threats don't lie with PSA. They lie with inside jobs and third party carriers. The biggest threat of your cards going missing happens when you insure a package for $50K and leave the shipper. The simple name PSA or Collectors in the address box is the threat. There must be a change and it must be today. PSA and a a preferred carrier must work on additional security measures and finally offer the right insurance for transit within the collectibles market.
