From a VFX artist perspective, it *feels* ridiculous since nearly the entire frame will ultimately be replaced. But filming sequences like this allows the filmmakers to design/explore the sequence with on-set choreography, real-world limits, performance choices, camera gags, etc.

It’s a monitor that looks crisp at all angles, behind a couple of layers of thick glass, set deep into the case, so there’s some bounce & reflections happening, The back of the vault is implied in the video, but it’s murky with shifting lights, plus some noise to confuse the eye.

You guys have had a lot of really fun, insane cameos this season, but I think [famous actor in the finale] might take the cake. Was that on the page or did you just slot in ”cool celebrity” and then look to see who was available?
First of all, he's amazing. Every time I see the episode, I think he's so funny and weird and did everything right. I'm sure he was on a short list that we had.
