Quick-draining boots designed for Navy SEALs (link roundup)

The quick-draining ABYSS boot available in two different color choices here. Via.

And a few more links:

1. Chad Concelmo explains at length why Destructoid's video game scores cannot be compared to one another. In other words, a game that received a 6 from the site might actually overall be much better than a game that received a 9. Seems like a terrible idea. I want to look at a year end list that shows me at a glance which are the very best games. That doesn't seem possible if games aren't measured on the same scale.

2. The average NFL game has only 11 minutes of gameplay. Wow. Via.

3. Get up to speed with new, semi-manufactured pop icon Ke$ha. She used to sing country songs.

*Previously: Nike tae kwon do boots are designed to be as loud as possible.

  1. When I was on the the football team in high school, one of our sadistic coaches had a drill called "Four Quarters". It was basically constant movement (running in place, dropping to the ground and jumping back up, etc...) for 15 straight minutes, since that was the amount of time you actually spent in action during a game. It was hellacious and made me appreciate all the filler during a game.
