The Mandalorian Guernica
Picasso's Guernica (A painting I never cared for):
Picasso's depiction of the Mandalorian War against the Old Republic Jedi (courtesy of this week's episode of Clone Wars):
The episode also featured a cubist painting of Duchess Satine Kryze, the Queen Amidala clone/ruler of Mandalore (I don't know whether it's an homage to a specific painting):

Don't hurt the kitty
Gabriel Hargrove, Lynn Lim and William Newhouse at the fabrication shop in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's Architecture, Interior Architecture and Designed Objects department figured out that you could deter people from damaging the table on the drill press by placing a photo of a helpless kitten. When Peter Pan attacks
The video is named "Greenport Peter Pan Fiasco," and the description says:
This is what happens when you mix flying rigs with Greenport...The awesomeness is not over when the stage is fixed...
Our 2009 production of Peter Pan went horribly wrong during the last five minutes of opening night. Thus ensued.
This is after a week with the flying professional. None of this is out fault. It was a mistake by the rig guys, and we were just tethered to the ceiling.
