Some fan art of Wapeach, a new character considered for Mario Power Tennis
Fumihide Aoki, Waluigi's creator, recently shared sketches and even renders of a scrapped rival for Peach that was slated for Mario Power Tennis, but the associated IG account was privated; I assume Nintendo fans were acting like Nintendo fans towards Aoki if you catch my drift… pic.twitter.com/tSTFECrFUW

Yves Klein Blue Monochrome. Here’s a high school class on a field trip staring in complete awe at it. They made fun of every other painting on the floor but when they got to this one they just kept repeating “it’s so blue” “how is it so blue” “it’s so fucking blue” etc https://t.co/ZMsO27NEf8 pic.twitter.com/Cl0ZHpyEdF

Toyota's Daihatsu subsidiary "halted domestic production after admitting it forged the results of safety tests for its vehicles for more than 30 years"
CNN:
The move comes as Daihatsu grapples with a deepening safety scandal that Toyota says “has shaken the very foundations of the company.”
Last week, Daihatsu announced an independent third-party committee had found evidence of tampering with safety tests on as many as 64 vehicle models, including those sold under the Toyota brand.
Issues with falsified crash tests first came to light in April, when the firm admitted it had manipulated data on four models manufactured in Thailand and Malaysia from 2022 until this year.

"Showed up at the coin toss without permission and then nearly bungled it" is one of the funniest reasons to get suspended, no question
— Ryan Nanni (@celebrityhottub) December 27, 2023
Jaire Alexander wasn’t announced by the Packers as a game captain, but he went out for the coin toss anyway. And called it. And won it. And almost messed it up.

Sounds like he just did it on his own.

What If? Sakaarian Iron Man by Hot Toys up for preorder
In the Marvel Studios' What If...? animated series, Tony Stark's character continues beyond Iron Man Mark LXXXV from Avengers: Endgame and takes on a different path in an alternate reality as Sakaarian Iron Man. The armor combines the iconic character of Iron Man with the unique setting and aesthetic of Sakaar, a planet renowned for its gladiatorial games and diverse alien population. This fusion created a distinctive portrayal of Iron Man.Skillfully crafted based on the appearance of Sakaarian Iron Man, the one-sixth scale figure stands 36cm in height, features Tony Stark's head sculpt with magnetic LED light-up face armor. The intricate armor designs, inspired by the planet's culture, further enhance the visual appeal of the figure. Vibrant colors and tribal influences contribute to the unique and striking appearance of Sakaarian Iron Man. This interpretation of Iron Man could feature modifications and upgrades specific to Sakaar, adapting to the challenges and conditions of the planet.

I'd be more interested in a "G.I. Samurai" remake than a "Shogun" remake
— choppergoesbang (@choppergoesban1) May 7, 2022
Wikipedia:
G.I. Samurai (戦国自衛隊, Sengoku jieitai, Sengoku Self Defense Force) aka Time Slip, is a 1979 Japanese science fiction/action film focusing on the adventures of a modern-day Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) team that accidentally travels in time to the Warring States period (戦国時代, Sengoku jidai). The film stars Sonny Chiba, one of the top male Japanese actors, and was based on a novel by Ryo Hanmura, a well-known writer of historical novels and science fiction. A remake was theatrically released in Japan in 2005 under the title Samurai Commando: Mission 1549

"A monsignor on a motorcycle, a rabbi who escaped the Holocaust, and priests who pack heat: Meet the chaplains of the LAPD"
CNN:
The corps enlists 47 chaplains – most of whom are volunteers – representing Buddhist, Catholic, Interfaith, Jewish, Muslim, Protestant and Taoist faiths.
...
“Since 2020, we’ve grown to more than 600 chaplains in 32 states,” said Mendy Coën, director general of the United States Chaplain Corps, an organization that trains clergy to serve in police, firefighting, health care and aviation settings.
“There is a burning need for chaplains in police departments across all 50 states,” Coën said. “There’s often a stigma if officers seek help for mental health needs. So chaplains, while they’re no replacement for clinicians, they’re often the first line of defense, a compassionate ear, a confidential source, before the doctors or the E.R.”
