I thin Jerry was also on Soap a lot, which Benson was a spinoff of.
ReplyDeletejerry seinfeld was always a bad comedian.
ReplyDeletethe show was good only because his friends were awesome.
So he was basically playing himself.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Benson has aged well, but it was actually pretty revelatory for a sitcom at the time.
