Maybe it's just me, but I actually think that Congressman comes off looking like a decent person. He only discovered he had this daughter a few years ago, and she's in her 20s. And he's apparently trying to be a parental figure in her life.
ReplyDeleteI guess all I'm saying is that I expected the scenario to be much different--mistress, infant daughter he's avoiding, blackmail, etc. What's going on here doesn't seem scandalous at all. And perhaps that's an even better story.
I'm amazed that Twitter won't create a more foolproof way of telling if you're sending a private message.
