Oh I'm all for Bat-logo eyebrows. Haven't read the comic though.

ReplyDeleteI like the idea of Batman being actually happy, more of a swashbuckler than the brooding grouch he's been since Frank Miller got his hands on Batman a quarter century ago.

Oh, and skip the issue of Batman Inc where he saves the internet. I actually like the series and I still think that issue was one of the worst comics I've ever read.
I bought all the 99 cent issues from comixology, so I guess I can look forward to that one

ReplyDeleteI know you're typically not into "serious" comic books, but the first issue of Brian Wood's THE MASSIVE is great. I recommend it highly. Probably can't get it for 99 cents yet though.

I don't understand the last issue in that arc at all, until i remember the infamous last episode of the prisoner. Morrison is a dirty bastard writing a story that doesn't click unless you get the reference, it's like writing an homage to Lost.
