What should have been a routine group photo sparked online controversy for Thailand production company and talent agency GMMTV. At the TikTok Awards Thailand 2025 yesterday in Bangkok, GMMTV’s rookie girl group Felizz were made to kneel on the floor for a company group photo. This was despite them wearing short dresses and heels, which would make the pose uncomfortable. Videos taken at the scene depicted the girls’ initial hesitation and awkwardness at being directed to pose on their knees. After photos and videos circulated online, there was widespread criticism, primarily on X (formerly Twitter). While GMMTV deleted the original photo, it is still available online and GMMTV has not apologised for the incident instead posting another group photo that showed male talents kneeling.
