"Howard Schultz Steps Down as Starbucks CEO ... days before Schultz is supposed to testify before a Senate committee"

That's today from Eater. NBC, a couple of weeks ago:

Starbucks is pushing back against Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee he chairs ahead of a vote expected next week to subpoena interim CEO Howard Schultz as part of an investigation into federal labor law.

“Respectfully, Howard Schultz is not the right witness for the hearing,” [wrote] Starbucks’ acting executive vice president and general counsel . . . . he will “cease to be the interim ceo of the company this month.”
