All bases were shaded with washes and dry brush 2 highlight colors. I only use black and brown washes and very simple highlight color like ushabti bone. But you can use any color on the terrains.

The sweet spot is somehow between thin and thick, two thin coats works the best (not kidding)😂 If too thin it doesn't crack at all, and being too thick won't pull the surface enough.

I recommend paint the base with a coat of PVA glue to make the crack working.
