Enormous painting of "Elric on the Ship That Sails Over Land and Sea" (art roundup)

("For the Pope’s Tailor Filippo Sorcinelli, Queerness and Catholicism Share a Sensual Beauty")

The I SPY CD-ROM games are a fuckin anomaly, turning the books into interconnected hypercard worlds. This team built MYST with practical, handcrafted miniature sets. Couple that with digital animation + DENSE sound design, and you get a string of the most memorable IP adaptations ever made

My attempt to restore the artwork of #ElevatorAction Returns used on the cover of the #SegaSaturn release in Japan as well as for advertising. Used different sources to fill in bits, taking some liberties, applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch combo. No clue on the artist.

I just uploaded this beautifully illustrated #Zelda children's book by Imamichi Eiji 今道英治. 1986. Mases & I had gotten smaller scans of this online years ago but my old scanner (& most) don't capture hot pink very well. Translation by @kotofeytilt.bsky.social Here: archive.org/details/fami...

It's Minnesota State Fair time! It's time for Minnesotan folk art! Here, for example, is Saturn Devouring His Corn, in the seed art category!
