A Song for a New Day by Sarah Pinsker (haven't read it yet, but it won the 2019 Nebula for best novel) (I enjoyed her short story "And Then There Were (N-One) ")
The City & The City by China Mieville (loved it, looking forward to rereading it and seeing how it works knowing how the cities interact)
