Best Chicago controversy of the new Pope is the Cubs trying to lay claim to him and his brother having to speak up to clear up that he's a Sox fan. blockclubchicago.org/2025/05/08/p...

The 80 year age max was instituted in 1970. The Vatican realized that gerontocracy and having a bunch of senile guys running the show might be a problem *over 50 years ago.*

CDC leadership just told staff on Monday that they could stop sending their "5 things I did last week" emails. Finally. Per source, people were mostly just sending the same things every week. Many folks added read receipts and were able to see that no one at DOGE was actually reading the emails.

Guess which government “policy” has come up more than any other in the last two weeks of interviews with members of the London public? (I wasn’t seeking comment on it, just keeps popping up.)

(Referring to this, I think. Going to be amazing when one actor is manipulating the weather in a way that disadvantages another)

What a story from Carl Nassib, detailing a particular display of allyship from the Cleveland Browns’ offensive line before they even knew he was out. And kudos to Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor for channeling that same vibe. It’s what I saw in Tampa too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGqm...
