To the interviewer's surprise, the mayor says quite explicitly that the A's should just stay in Oakland, and basically challenges Oakland to get a deal done. (She also starts and ends the conversation about the team by saying that, if the A's move to Vegas, they should move to a location off the strip favored by the mayor.)
