Supercell's new free ios game Squad Busters is quick simple fun
If you ever played Hole.io, it's basically a slightly more complicated version of that. Games are very quick, and losing doesn't feel remotely as painful as in Clash Royale. (The animation isn't as charming as in Clash Royale, though, or games are too frantic to appreciate it.)
