More from the race: A visiting LeClerc chased by the t-rex; cars go hydroplaning in the rain; racer gets run over a few minutes into the 24 hour race:
My daughter LOVES dinosaurs! She made me promise to get a photo with the dinosaur car at Le Mans so I bought this outfit just for the occasion. Thank you @AORacingUSA for an awesome livery and an the photo op! Lots of fun was had in the pit lane today with this. #LeMans24hr pic.twitter.com/l2XViqqTRx

Fabio Scherer was literally only jumping on one foot as he couldn't walk due to an earlier accident at Le Mans causing him to nurse a (possibly) broken foot.

Fabio Scherer (pictured) hopping to do a driver swap had his foot runover during the night by another race car leaving the pits. His foot is broken. He’s had to change his driving style to carry on racing. That’s Endurance. That’s @24hoursoflemans cc @leighdiffey @AlexBrundle pic.twitter.com/sb11F1MhoL

Fabio Scherer had his braking foot run over by the Corvette in the first 15 minutes of Le Mans, but he drove through the pain to claim LMP2 victory.
What a story! Get some ice lad 🧊 @IE_Competition 👏 pic.twitter.com/CLw6NVmkh4
It wasn't just the ankle:
Scherer’s final stints were made harder due to a failed radio system that meant his team were relaying messages from the pitwall with hastily-made signals – for which it received a reprimand from race stewards late on.
