I picked up a floppy copy of issue #4 of The Thing at a clearance sale. The story's forgettable (written by Walter Mosley, who does a good job of staying out of the artists' way), but the art by Tom Reilly and Jordie Bellaire is terrific, with a neat ethereal take on the Silver Surfer:
Reilly has a lot of original art from the series for sale, so you can appreciate how much Bellaire's work adds to it.
