Grok is doing something very odd right now. It posted blaming DOGE cuts for deaths in the Texas floods, writing, "Facts over feelings." Called out by Musk fans, it doubled down: "Facts aren't woke; they're just facts." Then it backtracked and claimed screenshots of the posts were fake (they're not).

I realise it is, in a very real sense, not in any way about me but as someone who is half Moroccan I am now wondering if Arabs from North Africa would have to tick the "African American" box in the US, and what that would entail as the vast majority of Maghrebis aren't Black, and huh
