(If you read the Huffpo article, it's a rewrite of a NY Post article, and if you read that article, it's not really clear when (after yesterday's results?) or to who (Punchbowl?) Jeffries made the statement, but yeah, it included, "the mayor “has been off to a great start … We have a great working relationship, and that will continue moving forward.") (I guess it's not a surprise, because who else but ragebaiters would be posting about politics on social media sites at this point, but the number of people I view as reliable shrinks everyday)This headline wildly misrepresents the actual content of what Jeffries says—even in the article they add a “seriously” that just isn’t there—and also noticeably omits the immediate follow-up question, where Jeffries, when asked what his and Mamdani’s relationship is like, says “very good”

In order to minimize environmental impact Ukrainian naval drones always hit the rear motor part of russian oil tankers, disabling them without oil spill. This tactics is very hard vs to an easy (enviromentally dangerous) hit on side, requires great skills. pic.twitter.com/UT6ompSDdU

A detailed review--I'd definitely try it if I had NetflixZoë Kravitz, Sadie Sink, and Troy Baker star in UNHINGED, a new immersive game experience from Netflix and Night School Studio. Coming June 30.

(I remember enjoying the comic, and I love True Grit, seemed like a bad sign that none of the ads even hinted this movie was True Grit with Supergirl in the drunk lawman role (or am I misrememebring the comic?)) (I checked out Gunn's Superman after the first scene where Lex is dictating the fistfight) (Checked out of Thunderbolts when I realized he wasn't turning people to pulp (the best thing about the trailer), but sending them to a multi-stage depression cave or whatever)'Supergirl' Review: Milly Alcock Takes Charge in a Dystopian Superhero Movie So Flat It's Super-Horrendous https://t.co/WTJyqriJ5t

(The opening anecdote is lousy in multiple ways, too. Total recklessness)The New York Times has released a long piece on Dianna Russini. Here's the piece [https://t.co/A6jFPMrLjQ] and highlighted below (for those interested) is an interesting journalistic exchange including the decision to publish the process of said exchange. pic.twitter.com/NXO7aHfRBG

Every year I RT this on the day of the draft in order to cement its place in Bulls lore.

One of my favorite draft memories - the Bulls blacking out all the windows to ensure total secrecy before selecting Denzel Valentine and Paul Zipser. https://t.co/9f2ri5n5uY
One part that didn’t make the piece, I asked Keaton Wagler about the weirdest question he was asked during this pre-draft process.

(I've heard that next year's draft is expected to be even thinner--with the theory being that older players aren't exciting prospects because no one can pretend they have much untapped potential or physical growth, and the extra time in college might calcify their bad habits)Second round of 2026 NBA Draft:

“When I told a friend I was going to check out Jamagansett over Memorial Day weekend, he thought it was a music festival,” writes Rory Satran. The reality was tamer: It’s a twee Hamptons shop that opened in the just-so village of Amagansett selling three $80 pies a weekend.

It's funny, ya know - whenever anyone is nostalgic for Indy or STAR WARS, they're actually nostalgic for a couple of nerds from the 70s who grew up in the 50s who were nostalgic for the 30s.
